Wishing upon a star,
will only get you so far.
Ideas in your head won’t materialise ,
Unless you give it a try.
When you embark upon a journey,
The destination you will find at the end,
After you have proven your mettle,
After you have fought your battle,
It’s the winner who takes home the prize.
The journey may seem long,
The future may seem dark.
But you need to hold on to hope,
You need to wait for the spark.
Don’t give up on your dreams,
Don’t let your fears take the lead.
Stand tall in the face of tempest,
Find your courage when you need.
